The Challenge

After decades in a market leadership position, an iconic housewares brand was facing increasing competition, declining sales and lacking meaningful connection with the millions of consumers already owning the brand and product

The Strategy

By thinking beyond the physical product which limited our scope, we were able to extend the reach and meaningful interaction points with consumers. Now, beyond providing a tool to help create a meal, the brand is providing inspiration, instruction, content, consumables and experiences. And the consumer is actively engaging with a community of peer to peer sharing and problem solving.

The Results

New revenue streams have been created that are more frequent and include licensed cookbooks, a recipe APP, meal starters, frozen and fresh meal kits, licensed meals in restaurants and home delivery meal kits.
